Workshops & Facilitation
I have delivered workshops and training across the world for a wide range of participants — from professional performers and emerging artists to students and community groups. My approach is rooted in collaboration, physical storytelling, and creating playful spaces where participants can take creative risks.
As a long-standing practitioner with Frantic Assembly, I have led Physicality & Devising workshops and Create & Trainresidencies across Asia, North America, and Europe, working with professionals, students, and emerging artists. With Vamos Theatre, I regularly deliver workshops in Mask Technique and devising for groups across the UK, bringing participants into the company’s unique world of full mask theatre.
I also co-created Empathising with ADHD, a workshop commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, designed to help people better understand and support ADHD in work, study, and everyday life.
In higher education, I have worked extensively at drama schools including East 15, All In Actors, UAL and LAMDA, directing and movement directing full-scale productions as well as leading modules in movement and physical theatre.
With GymJam Theatre, I developed countless “creative sweat” workshops, beginning with The Monobox and later expanding into The Sandbox Sessions — a cross-disciplinary workshop series where we collaborated with artists such as filmmaker Michael Lynch, musician Piksel, and beatbox/hip hop theatre-maker Conrad Murray to explore how practices could collide and spark new creative forms.
I have also delivered CPD for organisations including MakeSense, offering staff training in clowning and playfulness, and exploring how these approaches can support their work with clients.
I am always open to new training and workshop opportunities — please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like to collaborate.
