Community & Participation Projects

Alongside my theatre and movement direction, I am passionate about creating work with and for communities. My participation practice is rooted in play, collaboration, and giving participants ownership over the creative process. I love working with large ensembles to create unique work that is made with, by, and for the people in the room.

Clients have included the Lyric Hammersmith and QPR Football Club, where I worked on FORWARD — a project with young people in the Grenfell area exploring the links between football and life. I have collaborated with community artists in Reading to create a film about Reading Abbey, combining on-location ensemble movement with spoken word and poetry.

More recently, I was Co-Director on Vamos Theatre’s Elevate programme at 101 Outdoor Arts in Newbury, working with deaf and hearing participants to explore how mask theatre, physical theatre, and Visual Vernacular can collide. I have also developed projects with participants at Headway Brain Injury Unit, creating a live theatre-to-film piece that celebrated the stories and ideas of those who use and visit the centre.

These projects reflect my belief that creativity should be accessible, inclusive, and collaborative — opening up space for communities and developing artists to share their voices and create meaningful, memorable work.Write your text here...
